The year 2020-2021 is the best time to get either of these two (XBOX series S or PS4 / PS5) because both of them are in their best forms to deliver the best output as a gaming experience.
Both of these devices have gone through several hardware and software upgrades, also they have maintained backward compatibility, so games which were running in previous old devices are also running on the new upgraded devices along with newer versions of the games. Microsoft has recently announced that they will stop producing X-BOX One X and will invest solely in the production of the XBOX series. So the previous XBOX one x will not be found anymore after the next couple of months in the physical store or online.
Also, there is no point in investing in XBOX one x, as the new XBOX series S has more advanced and upgraded features.

PS5
PS5 is an excellent choice for game lovers of 2021 as it supports all future generation games. PS5 may not be the best product out there to play games on 4K display but it certainly comes with major updated and more advanced features than its previous versions.
The console is pretty big (weighs 4.1 KG ), tall and heavy. Its height is 16 inches (or 40 cm). It is mostly compatible and plays most of the PS4 games pretty smoothly and “Yes” it’s completely backward compatible.
PS5 offers the best media streaming and disc playback.

XBOX Controller VS PS5 controller
Play station uses a DualShock4 controller which has quite a few advantages over the XBOX controller. Play Station controller always uses Bluetooth. Also, Dualshock4 is a rechargeable controller. We can use a USB cable to charge this.
Play station controller suffers problems connecting with Windows systems. We need to install third-party software to connect this to a windows system. For XBOX this process is quite smooth.
For both the controllers the price is pretty much within the same boundary ( around 5000 INR ).
XBOX has a special controller called Xbox One Elite Series 2 which comes at a cost of ( Rs 12,500 ) but also provide a lot of extra features for the players which you generally don’t get in normal controllers
When it comes to connecting with Windows PC, XBOX controllers are always more hassle-free and work much better than DualShock 4.
